Quidditch through the Ages

Hello!
I know that it has been a hot minute since I have written a post here, but while I have still been busily reading I haven’t been reading Harry Potter books this month which deeply saddens me since it was #hpdec. I also wanted to let you know that I was also doing work on the blog over the last month and there will be more work done here in the future, which includes how my book review posts are structured.

I know that this book was done in conjunction with Comic Relief and wasn’t meant to be taken as a main part of the Harry Potter series, but in doing my re-read of the series I knew that it was finally time to read this book in its entirety. I have skimmed this book many a time in Barnes & Noble, but had not owned it until the last year. I am glad that I have now corrected that error in my judgement. Weighing in light 103 pages, I found this book quite intriguing to read and that I finished it in mere hours. I would definitely recommend this read for any fan of the Harry Potter series and anyone who wants some light reading without diving into the Harry Potter Universe too hard.

I found that the light-hearted informative nature of this book allows readers to dive more into the world of Quidditch and gives us a small taste of what Harry might have experienced when he discovered Quidditch for the first time. I am glad that I included the Hogwarts text in my my #HPDec reads and hope that in the next year I will be able to finish re-reading the entire series and give you some more updated thoughts on it. Hope to see you soon.
