I am back once again with yet another book review. I promise that I will have more life posts coming soon, but right now I’m in the midst of Vlogmas which you can watch here. It’s been consuming all of my time. I still have been reading though, so you will have a bunch of book reviews coming your way soon.
In continuing with last year’s trend of continuing to add companion books to my #HPDec challenge. I’m not sure if I’m going to finish this year, but I’m going to continue to push through. Fantastic Beasts & where to find them is a companion book to the original series and I had not read it before this year.
This book was a fairly quick read since it is the textbook during his first few years at Hogwarts. I loved learning about the creatures of the Wizarding World and the extensive history behind them. I was very happy to include this book in my collection and think that anyone who is immersed in the Harry Potter universe will enjoy adding this to their collection as well. I think that I might have enjoyed this more since watching the Fantastic Beasts movie/book since you were able to meet a few more of the creatures than what you see in Hogwarts.
