An epic tale across the realms. A deadly power that spans millennia. A story of struggle and betrayal, this adventure is told through the patchwork past of Marvel's most misunderstood mischief-maker of all time: Loki: Trickster. God of Asgard. Brother. This is the first of three young adult novels from New York Times best-selling author Mackenzi Lee that explores the untapped potential of popular characters in the Marvel Universe. The novels focus on exploring the duality of heroism in specific character stories from the Marvel Universe.

Hello!
I’m back once again with yet another book review. I’m glad that I’m finally getting a bit closer to my reading goal for the year. This book was living on Matt’s shelf for at least a year before either one of us really picked it up.

The short version of the story is that I liked it. The longer version of it is that as much as I enjoyed the book, there were also parts of it that I found too long and a bit too elongated for enjoyment. I like to see the beginning of SHIELD or the SHARP society in its tiny glory. It was also interesting to see that Loki had a friend and a love interest in Amora even if just for a time.

I would recommend reading this book if you are interested in getting back into the Marvel Universe, looking for a bit more of Loki’s backstory and looking for a fun YA novel. I personally am looking forward to see where Marvel takes the rest of this book series because a new novel from the Marvel Universe for YA is expected out this year. Also I’m looking forward to the Loki series which is expected out in the near future.

Let me know if you have read this book or plan to read this in the future. I hope to be back soon with another post 🙂

I read this for @llamaletters #llamalettersbookclu I read this for @llamaletters #llamalettersbookclub . There were some pretty basic things that I learned growing up, but there were definitely good points. No spoilers for those's who haven't finish the book. I also took a bunch of notes, which I'll continue to review now and again. I would definitely recommend for anyone who struggles with clutter and gets swept up by decluttering and organization shows

I finished my third book of the year so far. ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 The short diary excerpts made me want to keep turning pages to find out what happens next. I loved the plot twist, though a part of me felt kind of sad for the mother in the end.😉 I wouldn't mind reading a follow up to this book to find out what happens to Maddy & Olly in the future. A more in depth review in on the blog now. #linkinbio
