Recently I’ve been inspired to write a motivational pep talk to at least convince myself that it’s always going to be worth it! I’ve been reading A Girl who loved to write blog and being encouraged by Rachel Hollis’s book Girl, wash your face ( a review maybe coming soon…)
While I’d like to pretend that I have it all together; living in Hawaii, with an amazing boyfriend, the perfect job and I get to see my friends a ton and it looks like everything with absolutely no work. The truth is that I spend more time being envious of my friends lives even if it is just on instagram than actually connecting with them. I live with my parents and the job that I recently took this year while it’s stable and predictable doesn’t fulfill me like I thought it would. Why am I telling you all this?
Because as much as I want to make changes I spend more time scared of actually doing it than actually taking the leap. I’m hear to encourage you and me to take the leap, do the hard thing be unaware of what could happen and do it anyway. People take small risks every day and nothing happens to them, so why not me.
Rachel Hollis says “Our words have power, but our actions shape our lives.”
I could say a million other things to encourage you right now, but just do it ,try. As my friend Wayde, would say “What’s the worse that could happen? Just take that chance it could be the best thing that happened to you.
